Aust Ch Piaffe Rapt in Ribbons - " Lyra"

Once again, we combined the imported American lines in Aust Ch Am Ch Countrywinds Whoze Ever jointly owned by Piaffe with Taejaan and Noholme lines and were absolutely delighted with Lyra. This was shared by many International and Australian judges with many awards at breed and Group level. She also did well at Whippet specialties in Sydney and Melbourne, for instance, winning or coming second in large open classes.

Show highlights have included winning a large open bitch class and attaining Reserve Challenge at the Brisbane Royal 2007.

Am and Aust Ch Countrywinds Whoze Ever was put to our foundation whippet Aust. Ch. Taejaan Rapt in Beaus Tegan. Aust Ch Piaffe Rapt in Ribbons Lyra was the very pleasing result. Before finding her way into the whelping box at the beginning of 2006 she was campaigned very successfully at All Breed and Specialty shows. We were delighted with her second placing in a lovely class of 18 Open bitches at the 2005 NSW Whippet Specialty under Mr Ake Croander of Sweden. Winning the open class at the Victorian Hound Club show was another highlight. Lyra was an open class winner at a recent Brisbane Royal.
